The AT-LP140XP is Audio-Technica’s top DJ turntable. A high-quality, direct-drive, manual turntable which is perfect for both professional DJ-ing and for everyday listening to your favourite vinyl records.
Fully Manual Turntable With Extended Speed Control
The AT-LP140XP is a step up from the popular AT-LP120XUSB turntable. A professional DJ turntable, the LP140XP boasts a high torque, direct drive motor which can accomodate mixing and scratching.
Its heavyweight construction enables the turntable to offer impressive speed stabilisation. With an anti-resonant, mass-damped, die cast aluminium platter, the LP140XP offers stable, on axis-rotation at 3 different speeds - 33 1/3, 45 and 78 RPM.
High-Quality Components
The LP140XP features an upgraded, S-shaped tonearm with height adjustment, adjustable tracking force and adjustable dynamic anti-skate control which prevents the stylus from drifting.
As Audio-Technica have been leaders in phono cartridge design for over 50 years now, the LP140XP features that expertise in the durable, high-output AT-XP3 DJ cartridge completed with a 0.6 mil conical bonded stylus. The cartridge comes pre-mounted to an AT-HS6 universal 1/2” mount headshell.
Refreshed Design & DJ Features
Designed as a DJ turntable, the LP140XP boasts a start/stop button, forward & reverse play, quartz-controlled pitch lock and a pitch slider control offering widely adjustable speed control with +/- 8%, +/- 16% and +/- 24% adjustment ranges.
A stroboscopic platter with a speed indicator and a retractable plug-type stylus target light help in low light situations.
Simple Connection
The LP140XP does not include a built-in phono preamp but it comes with a detachable dual RCA output cable which provides a strong 5.5mV phono output. Simply connect the turntable to any component with a dedicated phono input to enjoy high-fidelity audio.
